Group Meeting - Thursday 24th November

We have decided on 2 proposal days for filming our final opening sequence, and these days are:
Monday 19th December
Tuesday 20th December

Treatment

Our film will be a psychological thriller, the title is The Hunt, including a stalker and victims, first victim is killed and then the stalker moves on to somebody else. The homages behind it are 'Psycho' and 'Prom Night'.

Psychological Thriller Brainstorm

This is a brainstorm I created with another member of my group, Beckie. We chose to brainstorm psychological thrillers because we would like to base our final project on this genre. Therefore we have obtained some more detailed research into it.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events - Sequence of Titles

I chose to study the title sequence of the film A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. It was 5 minutes and 29 seconds long, therefore containing a very large amount of information of the titles. The first picture above shows the main title for film, which occurred at 2 minutes and 32 seconds, just before half way through the sequence. The second picture shows each title which appeared and at what time, and there turned out to be 45 of them. They also tell you each role the makers of the film played, such as directors and producers. By going through each and every title individually I was able to see the sorts of things I should include in mine.

Final Production Company Logo

This our final production company logo, we decided that the image is the most unique and that the font definitely stands out against this picture. The fact that the eye itself is colourful, contrasts against the rest of the black and white. For the opening sequence of our film we would like this logo to be the first title, and possibly create it so that after it appears on the screen, the eye will blink, and this will be our 'signiture' image, and it also won't be boring.
